You never know when some little bit of knowledge is going to be of use...

I get angry when people dismiss what I know when it comes to security issues. The truth is, tcp/ip is not that secure in its design. I argued just the other day with someone that was reccomending that newbies install Firefox instead of IE. Well, everyone that finds out about open source tends to want to jump on that bandwagon, but sometimes a little caution is prudent. Its not the browser that is the problem - its the underlying tcp/ip and how browsers implement it that are problematic. I argued that newbies would not be as likely to patch something like Firefox independant of their MS operating systems, that that there were very critical problems with Firefox that I've known about for over a YEAR. I just can't always say what I know and how I know it. Its a right brain thing. Left brained techy types don't understand a right brain person like me. WTH am I even doing in tech? lol Anyway, case in point, some very critical Firefox exploits are out and all over the known univers and Mozilla has not a patch.

Another recent argument was that free A/V is better than no A/V at all. That is pure bullshit. Ask any hacker, lol.

I'd explain why, but that will be another time. Its a bitch having the myelin come off all your nerves.

I did not have tarsal tunnel. Luckliy I dreamed that my surgery really made my ankle worse and I did not have it. A few months later, when my other foot and left hand started acting weird, it was confirmed. I did not have tarsal tunnel. I had hereditary polyneuropathy, chronic demyelinating type.

It severely limits my time spent typing. Its really screwed my plans for my life up.
