How to remove anti-shoplifing devices:

If you have one of the devices on your clothes that has the long skinny part and then the little button part, with a wire going through your clothes, I've heard that you can remove it with a pair of wirecutters.

I tried this on my jeans, but I ended up with a small hole on the pocket.

Here's what works:

Take your garment and put it on a solid concrete or brick surface. Put the long skinny part face up. Bang the shit out of it with a hammer. Hit it very hard right where the big bulky part is - head on. The thing will shatter and release and won't leave a hole.

I hate those anti-shoplifting devices. It will really piss you off when you spend good money for something, take it home, and find that the stupid clerk didn't remove the device.

I still haven't figured out how to get one out of the blockbuster movies. Those devices are in there pretty good. I heard you CAN get them out if you pry enough, but you ruin the cases. I've got 2 movies where they forgot to remove that thing. That's an extra drive back into town to have it removed, and with gas so high, it just pisses me off.
